CHOIR
The Choir of St. Joseph's sings for the 11:30am Sunday Mass from mid-September through Pentecost, as well as for Holy Days.
Rehearsals are in the church choir loft Thursday evenings at 7,00p, and last from 60-90 minutes depending on the season.
Our repertoire has included works by Bach, Bernstein, Gregorian Chant , Grieg , Haas, Harrison, Hopson, Larsen, Mozart, Monteverdi, Paulus, Pergolesi, Saint-Saëns, Sleeth, American folk tunes, Gospel and many others.

CANTORS
The Cantors sing at Masses on 5:30pm Saturday, 9am and 11:30am on Sunday and for Holy Days, on a variable schedule.
Their ministry is to sing the Psalms and Antiphons as well as lead the congregation in the Hymns and Mass parts ("Lamb of God," etc.).
Rehearsal is generally on the first Thursday of the month at 8,00pm in the church.
CORO
El Coro provee música acompañada por guitarras para la misa hispana los Domingos a la 1,00pm y los Miércoles por la tarde a las 7,00pm. Se ensaya antes de la misa. Favor de hablar con Georgie Kettig ó Carlos Collazo después de misa.
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
Joseph Bertolozzi has played the organ and directed the choir at St. Joseph's since 2009 and has been a career liturgical musician since he started playing for St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie back in the 20th century!
As a concert organist, he’s performed his own compositions as well as those of the classical literature in the US and Europe on some of the finest and oldest organs in the world, including St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City.
He photographed and wrote the book BEACON PIPES about the pipe organs of Beacon, NY and also catalogued many Hudson Valley pipe organs for the Organ Historical Society and the Central Hudson Valley chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
